Saskatoon Guitar Show Attracts Attendees from Across Saskatchewan
Musicians from across Central Saskatchewan gathered Sunday for the first annual 2016 Saskatoon Guitar Show to build community and discover a wide range of instruments, pedals, amplifiers and accessories to add to their collections.
"After our first show yesterday in Regina we had a feeling that Saskatoon would be busy," said Scott Harwood, event organizer and President of the Amplify Digital Marketing Corporation. "With a slightly different mix exhibitors and collectors, we managed to attract even more attendees than the Regina event. This success will fuel future shows in Saskatchewan as well as our upcoming 7th Annual Edmonton Guitar Show event in September!"
The 2016 Saskatoon Guitar Show was envisioned in the fall of 2015 after producing and promoting a successful sixth annual show in Edmonton in September. Planned to run in conjunction with a similar show in Regina on back-to-back weekend days in May, the show attracted vendors from across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
The Saskatoon Guitar Show was held at the Western Development Museum and attracted over 20 exhibitors and over 370 attendees.
